Here’s my excerpt:
Kenley grabbed her friend’s hand again, “You ready?”
Sequoia took a deep breath. It wasn’t really the paparazzi she was worried about. This magazine article had managed to rip her a new one, and there was nothing she could do. Just like she couldn’t do anything to prevent photos being taken of her or her words to be taken out of context. No, she didn’t worry about them. She didn’t know how Perry would treat her. That scared her the most.

I feel her pain. You’ve written this so well, Yawatta.

Poor Sequoia! But at least she has the right attitude about how she can’t control what other people think and write…enjoying the story!
Thanks, Veronica! Sequoia is friends with some paparazzi folks, so she knows they’re just trying to do their job.

I feel bad for her. Being in the public eye leaves her open to so much, good and bad and there’s nothing she can do about it. Hopefully she’ll get a warm reception from Perry and her fears will be put to rest.
Hey Meka,
A warm reception from Perry? You’ll find out soon…. 🙂

I really feel for Sequoia even though she is moving forward the best she can. It will be interesting to see how this develops.
Hey Catherine,
I feel bad for Sequoia too.

Dealing with the press would become old hat…insecurities…we all have them. Well done eight.
