Saying a prayer for my granddad. Today I found out he had a fever of 106 degrees and that he experienced a heart attack. He has to spend overnight at Winchester’s medical center. I hope he gets the peace and rest that he needs.
On a lighter note, the Weekend Writing Warriors is an awesome site that allows writers to share 8-sentence excerpts, published and unpublished, to the blogosphere. If you’d like to join or would like to read wonderful talent, please visit the WeWriWa’s website on Sunday: http://www.wewriwa.com

“Thanks for being my best friend.”
Both ladies smiled at each other–at that moment, Sequoia knew everything would be okay eventually as she faced the crowd of vultures. “They had a right to run the story how they saw fit, however, they got the facts wrong; it’s their false opinion, which is sad that the public will read the article and possibly side with them; they don’t know the whole story, and according to their article, they don’t wish to know the whole story.”
